Naz Kobari is a microbiologist and cellular biologist, whose love for art, due to her family’s great history and artistic contributions, is a gifted artist herself. A scientist by training, Naz is a passionate artist who felt she had missed her calling.
“My Baba (father) was a fabulous Persian rug artist who shaped that industry in Iran with intricate, hand-drawn designs and as the CEO of Iran Rug Holdings. My mother was a theater-arts drama designer. Growing up around their tutelage and seeing the amazing creations opened my imagination and creative juices. I am finally following my heart’s desire,” says Naz Kobari.
