It’s the Holiday Season and parties will be the norm. There’s the office or business party, the club party, family gatherings, friend get togethers and, of course, Christmas Day. With all these opportunities to look fabulous, what should you wear?

When looking at fashion trends and style, think TIMELESS. There is one particular color which is loved by most, according to research done by the University of Maryland, looks good on all and will attract the attention of those who appreciate it most – blue.

There are many shades and tints of blue. There’s navy blue, evening blue, galaxy blue, baby blue, sky blue, cobalt blue, powder blue, etc. However, among all the different choices of blues, my favorite is Persian blue.

The color Persian blue is named after the blue of Persian pottery and tiles used widely in the Middle East. Persian blue is a representation of the color of Lapis Lazuli, which is one of the most sought-after stones in history that comes from Persia and Afghanistan.

Its deep and celestial color remains the symbol of royalty and honor, gods and power, spirit and vision. The first recorded use of the name Persian blue in English, was in 1669 – that’s 350 years ago.

When you combine this majestic color with luxurious silk, you have a fashion statement that looks elegant, beautiful and classy for any occasion. And, when you want to give a gift that says I appreciate you; you are special and exceptional, say it with Persian blue and silk.
